Chapter Meetings
The Audubon Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers usually meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 11:30am for a lunch meeting discussing important topics relating to the SH&E field. Meetings (unless otherwise noted) are held at the Casino Aztar Atlantic City Conference Room, located at 421 NW Riverside Drive, Evansville, IN 47708.
The meetings at Casino Aztar have been changed to allow for those who would like lunch to use the buffet in the Temptations Buffet restaurant and bring the food to the conference room. Ice tea and water is provided. The cost is approximately $11.00 (includes gratuity).

Presentation Overview
On October 25, OSHA took the last step to officially adopt the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling (GHS) into the U.S.'s Hazard Communication Standard. The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) now has 90 days to review and finalize the rule before it becomes official in the Federal Register. The Globally Harmonized System (GHS) will bring about muchneeded consistency in chemical classification, labeling, and hazard communication when the system is fully implemented here in the US and worldwide. Come learn more about the most recent GHS news, the implications, compliance strategies, and why you should develop your strategy today rather than tomorrow.
Presenter Bio
Mr. Massey has over 16 years of industry experience ranging from Lab-Pack Chemist to HSE Specialist to Regional EHS Manager. He has worked with SiteHawk for over four years as a Sales Manager while serving as a regulatory resource and presenting on various regulatory topics, such as HCS, GHS, REACH and EPCRA. Prior to joining SiteHawk, he served as the regional EHS manager for a chemical management and consulting company. Mr. Massey received his B.S. in Environmental Science from Ball State University where he specialized in Environmental Management and Public Policy.

Note: Today's meeting time has changed to try morning sessions. We will hold meetings either in the morning or over the lunch hour. For those who would like breakfast the buffet in the Temptations Buffet restaurant will be open. You may bring the food to the conference room. The cost is approximately $11.01(includes gratuity).
